About Tom Johnson

With over 35 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, and business leadership, I bring a lifetime of wisdom, grit, and real-world insight to every client I serve.

My journey began through entrepreneurship, founding multiple large companies and one of the founders of Johnson Management Company. I’ve worked with some of the most recognized names in American industry—General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycle, Lowe’s and New York Life Investment Division, just to name a few. Countless individuals and Executives from all walks of life have consulted with me and achieved tremendous results.

These experiences, paired with my passion for personal development, led me to create Pathway Coaching LLC—a space where I can help individuals grow, thrive, and face life’s challenges head-on.

But my greatest accomplishment? Meeting my wife in 1985 and building a beautiful family together. We now have three children and two grandchildren, and the lessons I’ve learned through love, parenting, and legacy play a big role in how I coach. I don't just guide people through business challenges—I walk alongside them through the personal, financial, and emotional terrain of life.

I hold a degree from Niagara University, multiple certifications and licenses, and yet I believe the greatest teacher has been life itself. My coaching style is simple, straightforward, and honest—no fluff, just real conversations that lead to real growth.

I work with everyone from the single mom struggling to find balance to the high-level executive managing overwhelming pressure. Every person matters, and every story deserves guidance.

A Little More About Me

Outside of coaching, you’ll likely find me enjoying life to the fullest—I’m a licensed private pilot with a IFR and high-performance endorsement, and I love to boat, scuba dive, ride motorcycles, travel in my motorhome, and most importantly, spend time with my family.
